Mission

The Mission of the Board is " to regulate engineering practice in Tanzania and promote engineering amongst local engineers and engineering consulting firms with a view to enhancing their competitiveness and promote professionalism in the engineering practice"

Vision

The Vision of the Board is " to achieve sound professionalism amongst practicing engineers and engineering consulting firms, and to have a sustainably growing engineering capacity in the Country"

The Board further wish to inform the public that as at December 16, 2011 the underlisted engineering consulting firms are the only firms that can legally offer engineering consultancy services in the country. To download the list Click here...

The Engineers Registration Board (ERB) is a statutory body established by an Act of Parliament (Engineers Registration Act No. 15 of 1997). The Board has been given the responsibility and mandate for regulating engineering activities and conduct of engineers and engineering consulting firms in Tanzania.
